About CSS
Build the system around the work—not around the person who remembers everything.
CSS exists for owner-led businesses that have outgrown improvisation but do not need theatre, jargon, or a pile of tools.
The work behind the work.
A business can have capable people and good intent, then still lose time between the phone call, the record, the handoff, the review, and the decision. CSS builds the operating layer that makes those moments visible.
What CSS does.
Service OS Pro
A configured operating system for trades and field-service businesses — intake through invoice, rent it or own it.
Explore →Custom Builds & AI Operations
A scoped build around one professional-services or non-profit workflow that nothing off the shelf fits.
Explore →Operational Advisory
Implementation-minded advisory that ends in systems — decision rules, SOPs, KPIs, and a cadence.

Start with the constraint
The repeated handoff or unclear decision creating the most drag comes first — not the tool.
Name the record of truth
Every workflow needs one place the team trusts, and a rule for what updates it.
Keep humans accountable
AI drafts; people approve. Consequential decisions keep a named owner.
Build for the ordinary workday
If a workflow cannot survive a normal Tuesday, it is not finished.
The operator behind it.
CSS is led by Anthony Smith. He ran data and sales operations at Microsoft, stepped into $5M+ businesses as a fractional COO, and holds a master's in Organizational Development. Anthony brings an operator's bias: if a workflow cannot survive an ordinary Tuesday without the founder translating it, it is not finished.
Based in Auburn, WA — serving the greater Seattle / Puget Sound area and owner-led businesses nationwide.
Evidence standards.
CSS does not publish invented testimonials, seed-data results, or promises a system cannot keep. Case stories identify their evidence type: approved client result, anonymized pattern, or illustrative workflow.
