Operational Advisory & Coaching
Questions to ask before the work becomes another set of notes.
Is this coaching, consulting, or advisory?
It is implementation-minded Operational Advisory & Coaching. CSS helps decide what matters first and then build SOPs, handoffs, follow-up rhythm, weekly numbers, and implementation work. Coaching shows up in the accountability and follow-through between sessions; advisory shows up in the operating design and recommendations.
What happens between sessions?
Each engagement uses a private portal with AI-drafted session recaps, commitments with owners and due dates on both sides, and portal messaging. The portal carries the work; it is not an emergency channel or an implied response-time SLA.
What does the process look like?
Start with a short conversation and pre-work, then a deep working session to map workflows, processes, and KPIs. Agree cadence and first commitments, then decide, document, implement, and review session by session.
What can we work on?
Examples include intake, onboarding and delivery mapping, AI operations assessment, operating process and KPI mapping, SOPs, handoffs, recurring review, and implementation support. The actual scope is agreed in writing.
Is there a free starting point?
Yes — the free 30-minute AI Operations Audit.
What does the monthly retainer cost?
Operational Advisory is $2,500 a month and Advisory + Implementation is $4,500 a month, each with its inclusions and exclusions stated on the pricing page. The terms stay what they were: the retainer flexes with your season, scope and cadence are agreed in writing, and the work should earn renewal.
Is there a credit for starting with the Owner Operating Review?
Yes. Start monthly advisory within 30 days of your Owner Operating Review and $1,250 comes off your first month. Credits do not stack with any promotion, grandfather rate, or other credit.
Do I need software first?
No. The next operating move may be a decision boundary, SOP, handoff, KPI definition, or review rhythm. When a workflow is stable enough to configure or build, CSS can route it to Service OS Pro or Custom Builds.
Is this fractional COO work?
Not by default. A fractional COO usually implies an embedded executive role with specific authority. CSS does not imply that authority through a standard advisory relationship.
Do you guarantee outcomes?
No. CSS can make operating decisions, commitments, and review rhythms more visible. It does not guarantee growth, profit, time savings, valuation, adoption, AI accuracy, or a business result.
