Every new contact arrives with context, and follow-up is prompted, not remembered.

ConnectQR is CSS's own product. It turns a room of conversations into a pipeline you can track, with research on every contact.

The challenge

Swapping contact details at an event is easy. Doing anything with them is not. Digital cards stop at the swap, and real CRMs are too heavy for personal networking, so the context is gone within a day.

What we built

  1. A one-touch QR exchange that also delivers a lead magnet or resource
  2. AI dossiers: public-web context, talking points, and follow-up angles
  3. Conversation starters drafted from each contact's background
  4. Alerts when a relationship goes quiet, with a suggested next touch

The results

Introductions become a pipeline instead of a contact dump. Each connection arrives with context. Follow-up is prompted, and relationships that go quiet show up before they're gone.

Where AI fits: AI builds a dossier on every new contact (context, talking points, and follow-up angles) and drafts the conversation starters. AI drafts, humans approve.

How we did it: Built in-house to test our own method: design the relationship workflow first, then let AI do the research a person would skip. AI drafts, people approve.

“Other QR platforms couldn't research a contact, coach me on touchpoints, or map who I'm connected to. Building our own up-leveled all my networking time.”
